Following up on Satellite Workshops in 2009 (Aachen) and 2008 (Dresden), we would like to invite you to the 3^rd Bioinformatics Satellite Workshop taking place after the 3^rd International Congress on Stem Cell and Tissue formation , on July 15th, 2010, approx. 9-18h, at the BioTec center, Tatzberg 47-51, 01307 Dresden.

Again, we would like to provide an interdisciplinary platform where different perspectives can meet, and discuss problems of stem cell data processing and analysis. Among the Speakers will be Michael West, BioTime Inc; Miguel Andrade, MDC Berlin & Andreas Beyer, TU Dresden.

Thanks to sponsorship by the DFG Priority Program SPP 1356 “Pluripotency and Cellular Reprogramming" and by the BioTec center, the workshop will be free of charge to everyone who registers at least one week before the event. On-site registrants are expected to pay a symbolic fee of 10 EUR. More details (Call for Presentations, Preliminary Program) will be published as soon as they are prepared; we already welcome suggestions for contributed talks, to stemcell-bioinformatics 'at' informatik.uni-osnabrueck.de. A poster session is planned if the slots for oral presentations are oversubscribed.
